Malcolm Gladwell.

  I like to read Malcolm Gladwell.  I dont always agree with his conclusion, but he always makes me think.....because, for the most part, he himself thinks---rather than ever regurgitating the party line.   I would, by the way, recommend his first book "The Tipping Point' over his newer "Blink".  However, if you are one who is inclined to read a lot of books anyway, you will find both worthwile. http://www.gladwell.com/archive.html
